About Teddie Hwang

Teddie Hwang is a flutist specialized in performance on European historical flutes.  One day she had the idea of writing down her thoughts about music in order to record her journey as an artist.  

 

Teddie is fascinated with sound, how one perceives and produces sound, and the impact it has on listeners and performers.  She admires tremendously the songs of the European blackbird and owes much to her former mentor Wilbert Hazelzet, who instilled in her many of the ideas she contemplates about.  She decided to share her musings as a way to invite others into her inner conversations.
